Over the past year or so, there has been alot of changes in the car industry. We all know how bad the recession was but i don't think too many of us thought that it would be this bad. Week after week, dozens of car dealers had to shut down because people couldn't afford to buy vehicles like before. And also so many people lost there jobs which means that some of them got their vehicle repossesed. The purpose of our article section is to keep readers like you informed with whats going on in the auto-world. There is alot of information spread across the internet regarding the industry but it's time consuming to look through all of it. So what we plan on doing is taking the best of all the articles online and publishing them here so they can be easily read all in one place instead of spread out over 20 websites. A few weeks ago i was glued to my television set concerned about the future of Chrysler, mainly because i just purchased a 300 a few months ago and i didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find parts if they went under. And i just didn't want to see an American car company go out of business.
Fortunately, Fiat came to the rescue and everything seems to be on track at the moment. But given the state of the industry, it makes you wonder why the American car companies couldn't keep up witht he foreign companies in terms of technology. You would think that the CEO's would realize that unless they started becoming more innovative that the foreign companies would just continue to be light years ahead of them in terms of innovation. And now, it seems that they are being forced to do the things that they should have been doing to begin with. But i guess it's better late then never, and i hope that the new breed of green and electric cars really become successful for alot of reasons. Mainly because it would help us to stop importing so much oil and it would make our air cleaner. Also, down the line, i hope that the make an affordable way to convert your current engine to an electric engine. I think that would be the best idea since most people would not be able to buy a new vehicle that easily.
